New Crafty Adventure: Update

Update on my new crafty adventure in crocheting: it's going really well. I spent most of the day yesterday working on crocheting flowers and hearts. There were a few flowers that turned out looking lopsided, but I got a few that looked like they should. My first heart attempt was a success, although I'm not so sure that the hole in the center is supposed to be that big, but that can be covered up by a brad. Today, I ventured into the world of crochet butterflies. The red one was my first attempt. Not too bad for a first try, right? I might need to invest in a smaller hook so that it'd be easier to work with smaller thread. How cute would these be to put on cards!
