Tuesday Trigger: Sweater Weather

I wanted to try out Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger today (Sweater Weather). I thought the theme and title were funny because it's definitely not Sweater Weather where I live. I went to the gym at 6 PM in shorts. Does that sound like proper Halloween weather to you? It doesn't to me. Anyway, I wasn't really inspired by the grey and yellow, so I consulted my beta tester (aka my sister) who suggested a squirrel card (which is funny because the last time she asked me for ideas for the weekly comic strip that she draws for the school paper, I gave her a squirrel themed idea). Ah ha, squirrels are grey and I can use some yellow background paper. Perfect. It's been a while since I folded an origami squirrel anyway, so this was good practice. So, as you can see, I went by the colors rather than the actual sweater. I modified Kazan's Sketch #63 by the sentiment placement and the addition of buttons. I like how the buttons look like they have some texture (to match the texture of the sweater) even though they are flat. They are, however, very thick. Wow, no ink or stamps. How unusual!

EDIT: My sister suggested that he should be holding a button, but I thought a heart was cuter, so now he's holding a heart that I cut out. Nothing says "I love you" like a squirrel card.
