Peacock Card

At the office: Because it was the last Friday of the month, we got breakfast at the office.  I have been missing these breakfasts the last few months because Fridays are my work-from-home days and I usually go to the gym on Friday mornings.  However, it was my department's turn to sponsor breakfast, so I couldn't skip out on that.  Breakfast was very filling: eggs, sausage, French toast, and potatoes.  The big boss also left some cookies that his wife made in the kitchen.  They were chocolate-y and chewy and had coconut in them.  I eventually lost count on how many I ate.  I'm going to be watering his plants the next week or so while he's out of town, so he sent me an email saying that he left cookies in the fridge for me.  Oh yes.  Payment in food is definitely a-ok in my book!  If it's the cookies that I ate today, that'd be awesome!

Card: I needed to take a crafty break after doing that large recent card order for the office.  Today is the first step to getting back into the groove of things.  I wanted to use some new stamps that I got from the crafty yard sale last week.  I love love LOVE the peacock stamp.  It's so pretty!

Tina, I like your bright color card. Very pretty. And better yet that you got the stamp from your yard sale finds. I'm participating and selling many of my stamp sets at a garage sale at a LSS today. Wish me luck (especially with the weather over 100). Lots of good finds - too bad you couldn't be here on the west coast :)
